The Formalities

Getting married in Anguilla really couldn’t be simpler and with Weddings in Anguilla to guide you every step of the way, it really is a breeze.

All you will need are your current passports and original documentation if you have previously been married (decree absolute or death certificate).

We buy, in advance, the stamps (US$ 37.20) that are required and meet you at the Court House too. We send to The Court House, prior to your arrival, all the relevant information they need – your full names, dates of birth, addresses etc.

We then stay with you whilst you check all the details they have are correct and swear, under oath, that you are legally free to marry. That is it…we take care of the rest for you.

The only other requirement is that you file your papers an absolute minimum of 48 office hours in advance of your ceremony to obtain your license (US$ 241.80). We strongly advise that you discuss your travel plans with us before booking so we can inform you of any public holidays that may affect the office being open.

The process, with us taking care of most of it, means you only need to assign approximately 10 minutes and then you can go and enjoy Anguilla and all it has to offer.
